I believe it is A TOC refresh that can load nearly all games without having to rebuild them. Tekken booted, I am not sure if it acts like a DVDloader, a TOC refresh, or just a regular swap magic. I loaded Cogswap, switch for the original DVD, then I did the slide card trick putting the burned 3.6 in, loaded it, and then I did the slide card trick again with the Tekken 5 backup. I had trouble booting Tekken 5, so I experimented with Swap Magic 3.6, and created a disk with the System file on the very outside sectors(not sure if this actually matters). I rebuilt this image and replaced the dummy file and my ISO was around 3GB, Sonic booted. Another example Sonic Heroes ISO size is 4.37GB I use San Andreas 4.17GB as my TOC refresh and couldnt boot it. In most cases you need a high TOC original. This is the only time I ever noticed this. I used Summoner (original) and booted PSI-OPS (cool game by the way) backup. Now there is a time that a lower TOC disk booted a higher TOC backup. I then tried Tony Hawk Underground, high TOC, and the game booted. Example, I was trying to load up Splinter Cell Chaos Theory with a smaller TOC size and failed. Must be larger than the disk you are booting, in most cases. GL and happy Gaming! I would have to disagree with you on the TOC refresh disk.

3) Load CogSwap from the menu 4) Once in CogSwap it'll either say PSX CDROM (if playing a burnt CD) or it'll say PS2DVD (if playing a burnt DVD) now use the slide card or flip top to switch the disk and press X then it'll say USE COG SWAP and press X again and voila! This i found out through trial and error and one late night of frustration lol hope this helps you all out there preserve ur swap magic disks i know thats what i am doing! So i decieded may as well be of some use to everyone to post my findings 1) load up KeyLauncher, ElfLauncher or whatever MC launching program u have chose 2)(if booting a burnt DVD) press eject and load an old DVD game or ur choice n e thing will work as long as it isn't burnt as well and also its TOC size must be smaller than the DVD u are about to load. Check that the IDE and power ports on your hard disk drive properly align with the IDE and power connectors on your network adapter, as shown below.Ok so recently i have seen a few posts regarding CogSwap loader and its funtionality. The first step is to make sure that the hard disk drive you intend to connect to your PS2 will actually fit into your network adapter.

How to connect a hard disk drive to your PS2 These models are not supported by HDLoader. All PS2's will have this expansion port except for the first three Japanese models (SCPH 10000, SCPH 15000 and SCPH 18000) which have a PCMCIA expansion port instead.
Both a Sony and standard IDE hard disk drive are shown below. There are a few known compatibility issues with some non-Sony hard disk drives, please see the compatibility section for more information. If you use a standard IDE drive, you will need to make sure that it actually fits into your network adapter. You have two options here - the official Sony hard disk drive, or a standard IDE hard disk drive with a capacity of AT LEAST 40GB.
